Long tube vertical rising film evaporator is a type of evaporator utilised in many industries for the swift and efficient removal of water or other solvents from aqueous solutions. It is made up of a tall, cylindrical, vertical tank that is covered in long, vertical tubes that run the length of it. The heating jacket heats aqueous solutions as it is introduced into the top of the tank. The vapours rise up the long tube vertical rising film evaporator as the heat causes the water to evaporate. The concentrated solution is then released from the bottom of the jar while the vapours are condensed and collected at the top.
