Evaporator

Film evaporators are a type of evaporator that conducts heat through a thin layer of liquid. In the food and beverage business, these are frequently used to eliminate water from liquids. These are comprised of heat exchanger, vapour separator, and condenser. The condenser turns the vapour into a liquid after the vapour separator separates the vapour from the liquid. Film evaporators can be used to isolate organic volatiles, although they are more frequently employed to extract some or all of the solvent from a sample in order to reduce the amount of the sample or extract.
